@ko4pgd ... I met a guy at the Huger park using it ... he was using very light wire, looked like speaker wire and was chatting with a buddy of his who was somewhere in the woods ... simplex ... very portable setup ... I was impressed ... his little pack was the size of a volleyball

That's nice and a whole lot cheaper than the 20' one I bought from Gigaparts! Have you tried it?
