Hey fellows, John here. I came across the original group on the .300 shortly after getting my license and found myself at home there whenever I came around. I was introduced to satellite there when Angel and Justin were getting that on, that was interesting! My first club membership was with the Coastal Amateur Radio Association (CARA club) which, I am still a proud member of. Mr. Mike Hiott (AJ4WT) talked me into filling in for him as a net controller very shortly after I joined. After hearing my abnormal twist on things, he turned his duties there over to me and retired from calling the net. I still call that net, usually once a month. I ended up finding myself as a net controller for the AARG somehow. Since then, the club has developed more, and I ended up as the Net Chairman. Now with more development, I serve as your Emergency Communications Team Chief. I am happy to be out here being RADIOACTIVE with all of you and to serve to help the community!
