My adventures into Amature Radio started with a few simple words from my best friend, "Hey, do you have one of these Baofeng things yet?" I was immediately intrigued to what on earth that could possibly even mean. long story short, I acquired a set to play around with and started learning about the hobby and shortly after acquired my Technician license, then General a few weeks later, and Extra in my sights later on this year.
I am still only a few months into the hobby but it fits right into my passion for electronics and tech of all kinds and my profession of being a Cyber Security Engineer.
I feel I have found a good home here with the Active Amatures group and hope to share my slice of knowledge in many technical areas outside of HAM while picking up on the tips and tricks of radio operation and the wide range of other skills and hobbies from other members in the group.
