So I have known PACMAN aka Trixi (husband Jason) for close to 20 years ... I showed her my Baofeng AR152 (green monster) awhile back and she thought it was a CB walkie talkie, and was not interested in it at that time because she used to talk on CB ... I tried to explain it was a better class of folks on the HAM radios but no dice ... fast forward to the CERT class, I talked her into signing up, and when she met Jason, Charles, and Mark, as reps for AARG, she got right interested in this HAM thing now ... so I am pointing her in the right direction for herself and her husband to take the Technician test, get a radio and become radioactive. I told her about the AARG website to get more info ... her applying for membership using PACMAN was something I found out about tonight at CERT class ... so I must say the combo of Jason and Charles are good ambassadors for AARG. Trixi will make an excellent addition to AARG ... a very bubbly and friendly personality
