I have recently acquired an Arrow 146-437-10 antenna and a dual Yaesu 817nd setup ... reaching out for knowledge on how to setup and operate to communicate with satellite, and space station as well.
Have you tried looking at YouTube for sat ops?
I have watched several tubes but nuthin beats hands on experience from a ham Elmer ... Gregg showed me his antenna which is the same as mine, and he has contacted ISS with his duplex radio, so I will call on him for more advice ... I figure Mike Abott will be a fountain of knowledge as well ... the first day I met Justin he got a signal from a passing satellite with a Boo-fweng UV-5R which put the hook in me ... There is quite a following for satellite ops, many of whom can accurately be classified as nerds with a capitol N <grin>, of which I have utmost respect
