Time is our most valuable resource.
Thought I would share a tip in case it helps someone:
do not try to slam an automatic starter in a 1964 vw bus with a bay window tank. The starter is much longer than a manual starter and the back end passes the petcock of the tank. it will not fit. And don't drain the tank to turn the petcock, because the starter is still to long and it will not fit. So, if you feel like taking out the tank and returning to the smaller 1964 tank, please don't. you guessed it, still does not fit!
moral of the story: not everything you read on the internet is true. I think it was abraham lincoln who said that.
