this is neither a good nor bad comment on the DAKOTA LITHIUM battery company, but an account of the events I am undergoing with them ... At the beginning of February this year, I obtained a used battery (DAKOTA LITHIUM 12V 10AH) ... works excellent however when the time came to charge, I read that using a regular car battery charger with a lithium battery would degrade the life of the battery, and I am paranoid of causing a lithium battery fire anyways (very bad) so I wanted to get a factory charger from them ... while on their website, I ordered a charger but noticed they had a very good PREORDER sale on the batteries I currently have ... half price, but would have to wait about 3 months ...I ordered several batteries as well ... 3 months have gone and went ... after contacting the company, have been told that due to a huge demand from the preorder sale, there is a backlog and the batteries will not be available untll August ... I have received the charger and the battery I have is working great ... Paypal only backs up the refund up to 3 months, so if the company is gonna be unforthright, they are in a good position ... I am not concerned with that, they have an excellent reputation, and that size battery has a huge following among HAMs and fishermen with trolling motors ... but time will tell ... I have a battery that is meeting my uses and expectations, but unless you can touch it, it don't belong to you ... update in August, I reckon
