had a storm rush thru the area, lots of rain, lightning, and wind ... over quickly but one of the hams reported 1.64 inches in just a few minutes ... I lost power for about an hour. no major problems heard

I was in Branchville plowing fire lines. A pretty rough cell developed over me as I was trying to get back to the truck, an inch and three quarters of rain fell there according to the forester. I experienced heavy rain with low visibility, quarter sized hail, high winds that downed trees, and heavy lighting. I reported this to James (N4JWL), our AARG EC and O'burg EC via Signal and the Vance 146.805 repeater where the info was forwarded on.
