Active Amateurs,

It has been a landmark inaugural year for the Active Amateurs Radio Group. I am proud to announce that we have met every milestone required to establish ourselves as an official radio club—a feat that exceeded even our most optimistic expectations.

This success is a direct result of your participation, generosity, and shared passion for the craft. To our dedicated members: thank you for being the foundation of this organization.

As we look toward the horizon, our newly elected board will convene in February to finalize our 2026 strategic plan. We are already exploring several high-impact initiatives, including the development of a dedicated EMCOMM Trailer, expanded participation in ARRL Field Days, and the chartering of a second school radio club.

Your insight is vital to this process. I encourage you to submit your ideas and suggestions as we shape the next chapter of AARG.
