 Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Native, also spent 20 years in North Carolina, enjoy metal detecting, all things DIY and Amateur Radio.  I received a Technician License in April 2021, General License in November 2021 & Amateur Extra in November 2024.  Enjoy participating in the local nets, making new QSOs around the lowcountry of South Carolina, Hunting POTA stations & working all the 2M & 70 cm digital modes.

     Active on all forms of digital, i.e.. C4FM, Dstar, DMR, FT8 and so on.  I can be found on reflector XLX517A most times of the day.  I will be listening on US-URF 517 C4FM, TG517A Quadnet DMR & XRF517A Dstar.

     Reside in Moncks Corner, SC USA, grid EM93xe and can be found on the local 2M FM repeater system most times of the day.  Our local group holds a net on 147.300 + offset, pl tone 162.2 every Teusday night at 8 PM & 145.350 - offset, pl tone 162.2 every Thursday night at 7 PM.  You can join the 147.300 net via our Echolink node @ KK4ZBE-R.

     Current Equipment: Icom 7300 HF/50 on 10m DIY vertical, 40m thru 10m end fed dipole, Max 2000 24' Vertical, 80m thru 10m end fed dipole and 6m DIY dipole, Yaesu FTM 500 and Icom 9700 on Tram 1481B 17' vertical dual band antenna at 40ft and 8 element 12 foot boom Yagi at 30 feet.  Yaesu FTM400XD, Icom 5100A, Icom ID50A and  Alinco DJ-MD5 in the truck connected to a Comet CSB790A dual band antenna for mobile ops and generic Pi-Star hotspot for digital ops.  Radiottity handheld in the garage on an attic DIY Jpole for foul weather ops.  Yaesu FT 2980r in Travel bag for portable 2M ops.
